Colton John graduated from Junior High today!

Woohooo! We are soooo proud of him, Charles and all their buddies! They lived through Junior High! 5 teachers retired this year as a result of having this class of kids! One of the high school kids even has a 'freshman paddle' with names on it... Colton and Charles are first on the list.  It certainly isn't to Colton's benefit to have his Sister in the Senior Class this next year!

Cache is walking... a step here and there.

Cache is growing so fast and we are having so much fun with him. He will stand on his own and takes a random step.  He enjoys meat more than sweets. And is sleeping through the night from about 8 at night till about 7 am.  Which makes all of us easier to live with.  He sure is busy and when he gets quiet, we get suspicious.  We hope you enjoy our blog as much as we enjoy sharing it with all of you.

All our love, the Nelson Family

8th Grade Prom, what a blast!

Colton and the boys went to 8th Grade Prom with a group of girls a few weeks ago. They went to a pre-prom party at a girl's house just up the highway from us. Then they got a ride in the party bus (an enclosed utility trailer all dressed up with a few couches, a music system and even a disco ball) to a fancy pizza place. Then on to 8th Grade Prom which was held at our wonderful Sacajawea Center here in Salmon.  The kids had a wonderful evening and got some great photos to remember it by.

Colton graduates the 8th Grade next Thursday. He is so excited about high school and all it has to offer. Watch for photos from that big Ceremony next week!

Cache Delgado Nelson turned 1 today!

Shayle, Chris, Colton, Thomas, Daddy and Mommy went to the Shady Nook  to celebrate Cache's First Birthday tonight.  Cache wouldn't have anything to do with the french fries, but rather enjoyed the grilled asparagus for dinner and MUD PIE for his birthday cake! He was the center of attention (as he has been since his arrival in our family) during dinner as we all enjoyed watching him developing his ability to use a fork and dig in to chocolate!

Happy Birthday Caches'!

A trip to Boise for Tami and Tom's wedding...

We had a wonderful weekend mini-vacation to attend our friend Tami's beautiful wedding. It was a nice small outside wedding in a georgeous location. A great weekend for the family away in a nice hotel with so much fun quality time. Cache got his first introduction to a mule named Katie who smiled for him.
